As we wrap up 2025 and head into the final stretch of the holiday season, we're taking a moment to reflect on what this year meant to us at Twin Ponds Lodge—and what we're dreaming up for 2026.
A Year of Community
This year, we watched our community grow. We saw first-time visitors become regulars. We watched friendships deepen over potlucks and karaoke nights. We celebrated Bears Weekends, Frat Fridays, Kink & Fetish themes, and everything in between. Most importantly, we watched people find their people—their chosen family—right here in the woods of Maine. But TPL is bigger than just the lodge. This year, we also saw the power of what happens when a community comes together with intention and purpose.
TPL Social Club & The Growing Table
Our volunteer boards of directors for both TPL Social Club and The Growing Table are the backbone of what makes this community work. These are people who show up—not because they have to, but because they believe in what we're building together. They give their time, their energy, their ideas. They fight for our values. They make sure that TPL isn't just a place to party; it's a movement.
TPL Social Club exists to preserve everything we hold sacred: our men-only, clothing-optional, body-positive, and affirming space. The Growing Table exists because we believe food is community, and no one in our community should go hungry. Both projects are proof of what we can do when we work together.
A Special Thank You to Ranger Alli, our first born.
We need to give a massive shout-out to Ranger Alli. On top of running the bar on weekends, hosting some very well-lit after-hours parties, killing it at karaoke, and keeping everyone entertained, Alli is also doing most of the administrative work for the lodge, TPL Social Club, and The Growing Table. Through his chaotic mania, he gets so much done—organizing, planning, coordinating. Keeping Roberto and me on track is no small feat. His meds deserve a medal too, we know they do a lot of the heavy lifting.
What We're Building in 2026
Next year, we're rolling out some exciting new programs:
Lodge Loyal Program – We're launching a new rewards program that tracks and celebrates our most active members. Because loyalty matters, and we want to show you how much we appreciate you.
The Growing Table: Building Phase – While we may not be growing tons of food in 2026, we're getting our hands dirty and raising money to fight food insecurity in and around our community. This is about action, about showing up for our neighbors, about proving that this community cares. Oh, did I mention that we are writing a cookbook? By "we" I mean all of us, the members of TPL Social Club, and by "writing" I mean we are collecting all your favorite and go-to recipes that are shared at our weekly potlucks. We want your recipes, your TPL stories and your pictures.
A New Online Social Network
We're building something inspired by the community here at Twin Ponds Lodge: a digital space for any man seeking the kind of authentic connection, acceptance, and community that happens here in the woods. For those who can't physically be at TPL, this network becomes a tool to find their people, build meaningful friendships, and foster that same sense of belonging wherever they are. It's about creating pathways for men to build local networks and communities in their own regions—bringing the TPL spirit of radical acceptance and authentic connection home. And, of course it will be a great way for all of us to stay in touch when you can't be here at the lodge.
We've also got the 2026 calendar sketched out—Bears Weekends, Frat Fridays, Kink & Fetish themes, Pride, our 4th Anniversary, drag shows, and more. But we're not done yet. We want to hear from you. What would make 2026 your best year at TPL?
Our Intention for 2026
We're committing to deepening what makes TPL special: authentic connection, radical acceptance, and unapologetic joy. We're building a space where every weekend feels like coming home. Where every guest leaves knowing they matter. Where the community we're creating together is stronger than it was before.
And we're proving that when we come together—as a lodge, as a social club, as a movement—we can change things. We can fight for what matters. We can take care of each other.
