The switch flips on May 1
Starting May 1, Twin Ponds Lodge is back to being open seven days a week, and honestly, you can feel it coming. Seasonal campers start rolling back in. Familiar faces pop up again. The place shifts from spring mode into that pre-summer buzz where everything feels possible.
Behind the scenes, we are doing what we always do this time of year: getting the camp ready, knocking out projects, tightening up the details, and making improvements that keep us moving in the same direction we have been moving for a while now. Not “new for the sake of new”, just the steady, intentional work of making each season better than the last.
$20 Tuesdays (a.k.a. do whatever you want Tuesdays)
Starting in May, we are kicking off $20 Tuesday day passes.
And the best part is: Tuesdays can be whatever we make them.
Want to get a Dungeons & Dragons group going? Let’s do it. Want to start a darts tournament? Great. Want an open mic night where it is karaoke one week and someone testing out a comedy routine the next? I am into it.
Or maybe it is just board games, a drink, a soak, a walk, and a whole lot of laughing at yourself.
The vibe I want for Tuesdays is simple: a low-pressure hangout night for locals, and especially for our service industry guys who cannot always make weekends work. Show up. Exhale. Have fun.
Wednesdays: Senior Days ($20 for men 65+)
Also starting in May: Wednesdays are Senior Days, with $20 day passes for men 65 and over.
This one matters to us.
Our senior members have been showing up for years. They have supported this place financially, yes, but also philosophically. A lot of these guys are the reason spaces like ours exist at all. They fought for gay spaces when it was not easy, not safe, and not guaranteed.
So we want you here. We want you present. We want you enjoying TPL as much and as often as possible.
Senior Days are our small way of saying thank you for helping make Twin Ponds Lodge what it is today.
